DGP of J&K Police Dilbagh Singh today said that despite so much of pressure from Pakistan Sponsored terror outfits, most of the youth have not fallen prey to their evil designs. Number of youth joining Militancy ranks is lesser this year than the previous years.
He added that normalcy is now returning to the valley but terror outfits are threatening people, harassing them and interfering with their normal lives. Police is trying to create a secure environment.
When asked about the killings of migrant labours and apple Traders, he said that In Sopore one terrorist has been eliminated and in Bijbiahara incident the killer was eliminated on the same day while in other two incidents, the terrorists' have been identified and shall be caught or killed shortly.
He added that he has visited Bandipora, Ganderbal and other areas and the situation is changing for good and exuded confidence that normalcy shall soon be restored.
